Artificial restoration of teeth and surrounding tissues that have suffered excessive loss of material, aesthetically impaired, lost teeth and surrounding tissues is called prosthetic dental treatment.
**Prosthetic dental treatment can be examined under four main headings:
1. Fixed Prostheses
– Metal-backed porcelain veneers and bridges
– Metal-free aesthetic porcelains (Zirconium, Empress, Lamina)
2. Full Palate (Jaw) Prostheses (Total Prostheses)
3. Removable Partial Dentures
4. Implant Prostheses
